Rare eyeglass variant of the standard banker or dealer visor (known as a green eyeshade)
Green eyeshades are a type of visor that were worn most often from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century by accountants, telegraphers, copy editors, and others engaged in vision-intensive, detail-oriented occupations to lessen eye strain due to early incandescent lights and candles, which tended to be harsh (the classic banker's lamp had a green shade for similar reasons). Because they were often worn by people involved in accounting, auditing, economics, and budgeting, they became associated with these activities.

We offer free shipping to the continental US on smaller items. All parcel packages are fully insured and shipped through USPS or UPS.

Freight Shipping

Please note that buyers are responsible for the shipping costs of all items that are too large to ship parcel. Moreover, all shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the responsibility for the shipment passes to the buyer the moment the shipment leaves our dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles.

International Shipping

All shipments going outside of the continental United States will require consultation prior to shipping. Items will be crated and shipped by boat or by air at the buyer's expense. Please contact us regarding any questions you may have.
