This antique foundry mold has been repurposed in our shop for use as a coffee table complete with a beveled glass top. Foundry molds like this were once used to hold casting material within with metal would be poured in order to form large gears to be joined with massive industrial machinery that brought us into the industrial age. The piece has all the original markings from the foundry. We believe that this particular mold was used in Milwaukee where it was originally acquired, and likely served the Falk Corporation in the production of industrial gear drives.
This coffee table has a 42" diameter and sits 18" in height.
