The circular upper gallery is decorated with floral relief, scrollwork, and an arched carrying handle, with supports intended to accommodate an ashtray or receptacle insert. A slender barley-twist standard extends between turned collars and pendant leaf decoration. The openwork circular base incorporates wreath-like borders, crossed bands, floral clusters, fleur-de-lis ornament, and four projecting feet. The underside of the table is embossed "L 64," while the base appears marked "MILCAST" and "809-1." The central ashtray or receptacle insert is not present.

Stand is in good condition with slight movement between its three principal elements. One of the leaves decorating the base of the stem appears to have been pushed inward. Overall wear is consistent with age and use, including scattered scratches, rubbing, discoloration, and paint loss, particularly around the base. Oxidation is concentrated on the underside of the base, while the visible upper surfaces retain an aged bronze-tone finish with areas of darkened patina.

9.5" Diam. x 29.5" H

MM - C-22658 - 102726

For information regarding shipping, please visit our Terms & Conditions page here.

https://industrialartifacts.net/products/art-deco-milcast-barley-twist-smoking-stand-by-milwaukee-grey-iron-foundry
