This beautiful tin sign advertises for the Cork Distilleries Company of Ireland. In the mid 1800s, four distilleries of Cork merged to fork the Cork Distilleries Company. This new firm would go on to distill whiskey as well as other spirits until 1966 when the company merged with two other remaining Dublin distilleries - Jameson and Powers, forming Irish Distillers.
Gold-colored font can be seen across the field in immaculate detail. Beveled edges are found around the sign. Though some weathering is present, wear is minimal. A warp is present on the sign but it straightens out when fastened to the wall.
This sign measures 16.5" x 12.5"
