This corkscrew was designed and patented in 1919 by Jules Bart. It uses a series of levers that work to reduce the force needed to pull a cork from a bottle of wine. The comfortable and sturdy pull handle has the words Zig Zag pressed into both sides. The parts are all still made in France using the original 1920s molds and presses. A bottle-opener resides on each side of the top lever. The entire piece is nickel-plated.
