This cylinder ashtray was made for the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, likely sometime between 1930 and 1940. The ashtray is self-emptying and with the press of a button the ashes can be discarded into the cylinder. A cigar holder resides on either side of the ashtray above the handles. This ashtray would have served for many years in the customer care center of a Firestone tires shop. The cylinder is aluminum made to look like wood.
This ashtray measures 7.5" in diameter and is 19" in height.
