mid-century-brass-two-arm-floor-lamp-with-ribbed-shades
Mid-Century Brass Two-Arm Floor Lamp with Ribbed Shades

Tall brass floor lamp with two offset arms, each ending in a loop and brass chain that holds a ribbed, scalloped cylindrical shade. The shades have a satiny woven cream surface over a pale lining, with wire frames inside. Each shade encloses a threaded white socket marked Leviton. The tubular stem has a black-finished upper section and a brass lower section, with a push-button switch on a brass plate at the break between them. The stem rises from a round, domed brass-toned base with a felt-covered underside. Three-way switching turns each bulb on independently and then both together.

The lamp is in fair condition, with some sway in the stem and an overall patina on the brass from the switch down. The base shows speckled rust and surface wear. The shades are discolored with age, with staining and foxing. The lower shade has one tear in the bottom, and the higher shade has a horizontal cut and a small piece missing at the bottom. The lamp appears to have its original cord, which is discolored with age. The lamp works. Sold as is, bulbs not included.

Overall: 26" W x 67" H
Base: 11" Diam.

MM - C-22612 - 110426

This piece will need to ship via freight.
