The exceptionally detailed model features a paneled delivery body, four wood-spoked wheels, working front axle, leaf-spring suspension, driver's bench, roof rack, access steps, side and rear doors, and an articulated hitch assembly. Painted advertising panels read "Tuborg Beer from Denmark" and incorporate crowned "TB" monograms. The fitted interior contains two levels of open wooden storage racks and six removable miniature beer barrels. Additional lettering includes "Berlin N.O. Landsberger Allee 24-27," along with painted load and weight specifications. Likely produced as an exhibition, trade-show, or promotional display piece.

Tuborg Brewery was established in 1873 in Hellerup, Denmark, and became one of the country's best-known beer producers, expanding its international presence through distinctive branding and export advertising.

Wood and metal model remains in good overall condition. Painted surfaces show cracking, flaking, scratches, discoloration, and scattered pigment loss consistent with age. Two sections of the upper railing are missing. The driver's bench back has detached completely; its present placement is an estimate based on markings on the bench. Brake mechanism is not fully connected and appears to be missing linkages. All doors open; rear doors have areas of trim loss and stick slightly, and lifting the roof is helpful when opening or closing them. One rear hanging hook is missing. The inner right front hub component comes away from the wheel but does not affect movement. Wagon rolls easily, and the front axle turns as intended. Fragile due to its size, age, and intricate construction.

32" L x 13.25" W x 19" H
Approx. 30 lbs.

MM - C-21983 - 080526

For information regarding shipping, please visit our Terms & Conditions page here.

https://industrialartifacts.net/products/rare-early-20th-century-1-8-scale-tuborg-beer-delivery-wagon-salesman-model
