c. 1890s-1900 - Lake Mills, WI

Antique custom leather back braces; one in an adult women's size and one in a young girl's size.

According to the provenance received with these items, they were made for, and belonged to, a young woman around the turn of the century named Addie Myers Faville, Despite only living until age 33, she appears to have made the most of her life and was even crowned Appleton Wisconson's May Queen in 1910.
These pieces feature sturdy leather construction with brass buttons, punched breathing holes and stictched leather support straps.

Exhibit minor signs of wear consistent with age and use.

Please note that buyers are responsible for the shipping costs of all items that are too large to ship parcel.
