This vintage cast iron stove by The Wehrle Company is fully functional and can be loaded through the front or sides. The front door window is lined with delicate slices of mica, allowing for viewing of the interior fire. The top finial can be removed allowing for one to place a tea kettle on top of the stove. Included with this stove is a decorative and vintage electric "log" fire, that quietly hums and cracks while emanating soft light. The decorative fire is operated via a plug that is lead out of the stove.
The stove comes apart in several pieces for storage and cleaning. The base may be separated from the stove along with the doors, finial, and interior racks. The front panel section can be slid open allowing for more oxygen to enter the fire.
No exhaust pipes or exterior pieces are included with this stove. The stove appears to be in fine working condition, but has not been tested.
