c. 1930s/1940s; Consolidated Electric Lamp Company (C. E. L. Co.) - Danvers, MA

Wall-mounted metal store display produced for Champion lamps, designed to showcase a range of bulb types and finishes in a compact, vertical format. The display features the Champion diamond logo with the central hand-and-filament graphic at the crest, with a lower panel reading "Buy Champion Lamps Today" and "Better Light to Night." Multiple example bulbs are mounted along the upper shelf, allowing customers to directly compare shapes, glass treatments, and color effects. The deep blue ground with yellow and white lettering reflects Champion's established prewar branding.

Champion was a trade name of the Consolidated Electric Lamp Company, a Massachusetts-based manufacturer that competed nationally in the incandescent lamp market. Based on the bulbs present and period Champion literature, the display appears to demonstrate a mix of clear tungsten incandescent bulbs, colored signal or decorative bulbs (red and amber/yellow), and frosted or coated bulbs intended to show glare reduction and light diffusion. The illustrated graphic references both vacuum lamps and nitrogen-filled lamps, technologies Champion promoted during the 1930s and 1940s as advances in brightness and bulb longevity. The example bulbs are consistent with standard medium-base (E26) incandescent forms of the era, used for residential and commercial lighting.

Shows minor paint wear, light scuffs, and edge wear consistent with age and retail use. Overall graphics remain strong and legible.
