1947; published by Seagrams-Distillers Corp. for Sportsmen of America

Vintage litho-printed map showing the geographic locations of various trophy and other sport fishing mainstays.

This map was a collaboration by cartographers Waldo Bemis and Charles DeFeo and produced as a whole by Francesca La Monte, Lionel A. Walford, and Ted Trueblood. It features a multitude of fresh and saltwater species from the different regions in the United States; each fish is numbered and that label corresponds to a location on the map where that fish could have been found.
Unfortunately, due to a previous framing job, many of the fish species, in addition to the title plaque along the top, are cut off by the frame's border.

Exhibits minor signs of wear including stains and dirt, but this appears to apply to the frame only; the actual piece seems to be in very good condition.

22.5" W x 32.5" H (with frame, actual piece dimensions are unknown)

Please refer to photos regarding condition.
