Vintage Industrial Hand Made Carpenter's Trunk / Tool Chest

Here we have one of several carpenter's trunks that we acquired. This obviously hand made trunk has 3 sliding drawers inside as well as storage for chisels, planes, and saws. This is a hefty trunk, measuring 44" L x 22"D x 20"T. There are nice brass handles at either end, galvanized sheet metal protecting the lid and edges, and a lock mechanism (key not included). This is quite an exquisite piece with a lot of history. It's quite large and really is best lifted by two people - it weighs around 70 pounds.
