This vintage display for Nye features two weathered axes which can be removed and placed in different areas of the board. The Nye Tool & Machine Works Company resided in Chicago, Illinois and was helmed by historically significant Harry Gale Nye, Jr. Harry was a descendent of the founders of Yale University, a school he attended before leaving and assuming leadership of the Nye company. Harry would later go on to lead an extremely successful life in sailing, where he would earn world-class awards and commemoration.

The Nye company seems to have dissolved sometime in the 1970s with only their tools and rare advertising still around today. This particular display has dimensions of 35"W x 66"L and is approximately 1" thick.
