The substantial form features a deeply button-tufted back, continuous rolled arms, tufted bench seat and buttoned front apron. Antiqued brass-tone nailhead trim follows the fronts of both arms, reinforcing the sofa's traditional English club-room character. The original maker's tag is pinned beneath the center front of the sofa.

This piece exhibits heavy wear consistent with age and extensive use. The front portion of the seat has pronounced drying, crazing and cracking, but no tears are presently visible. One button is missing from the center-right portion of the seat. Both rolled arms display cracking, scratches and abrasions, including marks consistent with cat scratches. Additional scuffing, scratches, finish loss and variations in color are present throughout the leather, with particularly visible wear across the back. The nailheads show oxidation and developed patina. The feet have white paint and scuff marks and are most likely later replacements. A new underside dust cover has been installed, and the original maker's tag has been reattached beneath the center front of the sofa.

78" W x 34" D x 27.5" H
Seat: 54.5" W x 20.5" D x 16" H
Arms: 12" H

MM - C-22339 - 102826

This piece will need to ship via freight.
