Large vertical ceremonial banner constructed from silk or satin fabric, richly decorated with hand-applied and stenciled imagery illustrating the biblical meeting of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, a central narrative within the teachings of the Order of the Amaranth. The composition features Solomon holding a staff beside a camel, with a stylized palm tree anchoring the scene, all rendered in gold and earth-toned pigments against a pale ground. The names SOLOMON and SHEBA are prominently lettered above and below in gold. The banner is finished with gold bullion fringe along the bottom edge, side tassels, and a braided border, and is mounted to a wooden dowel with metal finials and fabric suspension loops for wall display.

The Order of the Amaranth, an appendant Masonic body, places strong emphasis on biblical allegory and moral instruction. Silk banners depicting figures such as Solomon and Sheba were commonly commissioned for chapter rooms and ceremonial use during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, serving as symbolic teaching tools and visual focal points within lodge interiors.

Shows staining, fabric discoloration, creasing, and scattered areas of wear and damage to the silk consistent with age and long-term display or storage; fringe, tassels, and border trim remain largely intact despite wear.
