c. 1900s/1910s; Scholl Manufacturing Company, Inc. - Chicago

Antique shoe arch fitter.

This rare piece was used to stretch leather and other textiles to fit the form of a consumer's foot arch. It was designed by Dr. William M. Scholl (yes, that Dr. Scholl), who was a Chicago-based podiatrist at the time of starting his company. The actual machine is typically found without the attached stem and base as seen here, making it a unique find.

Exhibits minor signs of wear including paint loss and rust.

19" W x 17" D x 39.5" H

This piece will need to ship via freight.

Please refer to photos regarding condition.
