Oversized carnival or gaming wheel clad in leather and bone, mounted to a steel tripod base.

This monumental spinning dice wheel features a hand-applied leather surface inset with hundreds of bone or faux-ivory die faces arranged concentrically. At its center, a rich starburst veneer pattern radiates outward, underscoring the craftsmanship and visual drama of the piece. The outer edge is punctuated with steel pins, interacting with a sprung wooden clicker arm to create tension and sound with every spin. A robust turned wood hub and armature top the assembly, while a shaped black metal base supports the immense disc with industrial grace.

Originally used in gaming halls, carnivals, or early 20th-century social clubs, this object is equal parts kinetic sculpture and mechanical relic. From the crackled dice pips to the worn leather surface, every inch is steeped in tactile character. A visually arresting artifact that celebrates American folk engineering and showmanship on a grand scale.

Wheel operates smoothly and is easy to put together. The face of the wheel features a moderate amount of of craquelure, but the piece is overall in great condition and is structurally solid.

If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. FREIGHT SHIPPING

Free freight shipping is available for most large items. Conditions and restrictions apply: Free delivery is only offered on orders in the continental US. Shipping for freight items is free up to $500. If freight shipping costs exceed $500, the buyer is responsible for covering any amount over $500. Free freight delivery services include: delivery to a freight terminal, curbside delivery, and door-to-door delivery with a private carrier. White glove delivery services are *not included* in our free freight shipping policy, but may be available for a fee. Buyers may be subject to fees in cases where a delivery location is remote/difficult to access, or where a shipment requires special handling. Please contact us for shipping quotes and available services prior to purchasing. 

All shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the buyer assumes all responsibility for the shipment the moment it leaves our loading dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles. 

Delivery for freight items averages between 2-4 weeks. Longer delivery times are to be expected in cases where a delivery location is remote or when an order contains especially large or fragile items.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All shipments going outside of the continental United States will require consultation prior to shipping. Items will be crated and shipped by boat or by air at the buyer's expense. Please contact us regarding any questions you may have.
