A classic five-light pan chandelier from the transitional period between late Victorian and early Art Nouveau design. The fluted center column, draped bead-chain supports, and stylized floral bobeches speak to the graceful ornament of the 1910s, while the cast-metal frame retains the weight and craftsmanship typical of pre-WWI fixtures. Originally produced to hold glass slip shades, this example is offered without them, revealing the sculptural pan arms and warm patinated finish. The chandelier has been rewired and tested, now fitted with candelabra-base sockets.

Pan chandeliers rose to prominence in the early 1900s as electrification spread through American homes and institutional buildings. Their suspended bowl form-often supported by decorative chains-allowed for both upward and downward light, making them a favored choice for parlors, dining rooms, and entry halls.

Shows age-consistent surface wear, including patination to the metal finish and minor oxidation on bead chains and fittings. Tested and working. Bulbs not included.

If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. FREIGHT SHIPPING

Free freight shipping is available for most large items. Conditions and restrictions apply: Free delivery is only offered on orders in the continental US. Shipping for freight items is free up to $500. If freight shipping costs exceed $500, the buyer is responsible for covering any amount over $500. Free freight delivery services include: delivery to a freight terminal, curbside delivery, and door-to-door delivery with a private carrier. White glove delivery services are *not included* in our free freight shipping policy, but may be available for a fee. Buyers may be subject to fees in cases where a delivery location is remote/difficult to access, or where a shipment requires special handling. Please contact us for shipping quotes and available services prior to purchasing. 

All shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the buyer assumes all responsibility for the shipment the moment it leaves our loading dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles. 

Delivery for freight items averages between 2-4 weeks. Longer delivery times are to be expected in cases where a delivery location is remote or when an order contains especially large or fragile items.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All shipments going outside of the continental United States will require consultation prior to shipping. Items will be crated and shipped by boat or by air at the buyer's expense. Please contact us regarding any questions you may have.
