Antique carved wooden chair with high-relief wainscot paneling.

This piece is a perfect example of form over function. While it may not be the most comfortable sit of your life, it more than makes up for it with its eye-catching ornamentation. The back panel is comprised of floral and leaf scrolls, creating a series of tightly curled trimmings, giving this chair a series of deep recesses between raised embellishments. This motif extends out towards the arms, both of which are capped with wide, acanthus leaves. In addition to these, the chair also features a multitude of geometric and other shapes inspired by nature.

Restored in shop, but exhibits some small scratches throughout.

Shipping costs for smaller items being shipped within the continental United States are free up to $100. If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. FREIGHT SHIPPING

We work with a number of freight carriers and private drivers, and are happy to assist buyers in finding suitable shipping arrangements for large items. Please reach out to us for quotes and more information about your shipping options. 

Please note that buyers are responsible for the shipping costs of all items that are too large to ship parcel. Moreover, all shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the responsibility for the shipment passes to the buyer the moment the shipment leaves our dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles.
