Pre-Prohibition framed glass advertising sign for Bernheim Brothers' popular top-shelf I.W. Harper Bourbon Whiskey.

This sign is constructed of vitrolite, or pigmented structural glass, a product created by high-temperature firing followed by a three to five day annealing, or cooling, period. After cooled, the glass was flame polished (though now, ferric oxide is used) and was then ready for use.

The sign features a painted scene that depicts a hunting cabin with an open door leading into the woods; the iconic I.W. Harper acorn logo is placed on the wall, a central piece within a hunting trophy. "Here's Happy Days" indeed.

Exhibits minor signs of wear and is housed in a varnished wooden frame with painted gold trim.

Shipping costs for smaller items being shipped within the continental United States are free up to $100. If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. FREIGHT SHIPPING

We work with a number of freight carriers and private drivers, and are happy to assist buyers in finding suitable shipping arrangements for large items. Please reach out to us for quotes and more information about your shipping options. 

Please note that buyers are responsible for the shipping costs of all items that are too large to ship parcel. Moreover, all shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the responsibility for the shipment passes to the buyer the moment the shipment leaves our dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All shipments going outside of the continental United States will require consultation prior to shipping. Items will be crated and shipped by boat or by air at the buyer's expense. Please contact us regarding any questions you may have.
