c. 1931; Snap-On Tools Corporation - Chicago, IL

Original "Catalog H" issued January 31st, 1931, produced under the Blue Point line and distributed through Motor Tool Specialty Co. of Chicago with noted San Francisco branch address. The catalog presents a wide range of early professional automotive tools including socket sets, ratchets, extensions, boxocket wrenches, and service kits, all illustrated with crisp period diagrams and pricing structures. Bold black and orange graphic design elements frame the cover and interior spreads, reinforcing the brand's early identity as a forward-thinking supplier of mechanic-grade equipment.

Affixed to the catalog is an official United States Patent Office exhibit sheet referencing Indestro Mfg. Co. vs. Snap-On Tools Corporation (Opposition No. 17,614), notarized and labeled as "Snap-On Exhibit No. 14." This document directly ties the piece to a historically significant patent dispute within the early tool manufacturing industry-an episode rarely preserved in surviving material and often overlooked in mainstream company histories. The presence of this exhibit materially elevates the catalog's significance, offering both legal and industrial context tied to the evolution of interchangeable tool systems.

Shows moderate wear consistent with age including edge wear, light creasing, and toning to the paper. The patent exhibit sheet shows handling wear and slight curling at the edges. Interior pages remain clean and legible.
