This is the Man series by Robert DeVoe, created between 1976 and 1977. Each of the seven paintings depicts esoteric visions and spiritually-attuned imagery. Each of the paintings measures 32"W x 47.5"H. Each painting is done on art board, unframed. The field of each of the paintings is in great condition with only minimal wear. On DeVoe: Lived 1928- 1992. Born in Elmira, New York, Robert Alan DeVoe earned his BFA and MFA from the Tyler Art School in Philadelphia. His interests ranged from technology and mathematics to philosophy, music and metaphysics and he is, as he puts it, "obsessed with the geometry of life, the design matrix of nature." Higher consciousness and the search for it is the underlying theme, even the purpose, of his art. In his words, "My imagery comes from technology, science, and the mathematics of our time." Devoe's work is full of references to physics, Taoism, geometry, interstellar travel, the Big Bang theory and the architecture of higher thought.

Robert Devoe has a long list of shows and commissions of painting, sculpture, music and installations in which he has been involved, including exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Frankfurt, Germany. Mr. Devoe also received the Armstrong Award for Excellence in FM Broadcasting in 1970 for his creation of a radio show that commanded an almost cult-like following. Obviously a "Renaissance Man", Robert Alan Devoe is an artist with distinctive credentials and a wonderful sense of design, energy and color.

PARCEL SHIPPING

We ship smaller objects with UPS and USPS. All shipments are fully insured and adhere to carrier packing guidelines. Shipping costs for smaller items being shipped within the continental United States are free up to $100. If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please reach out to us for a free shipping quote on items you are interested in purchasing and note that international shipments may incur additional shipping cost.

FREIGHT SHIPPING

We work with a number of freight carriers and private drivers, and are happy to assist buyers in finding suitable shipping arrangements for large items. Please reach out to us for quotes and more information about your shipping options. 

Please note that buyers are responsible for the shipping costs of all items that are too large to ship parcel. Moreover, all shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the responsibility for the shipment passes to the buyer the moment the shipment leaves our dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All shipments going outside of the continental United States will require consultation prior to shipping. Items will be crated and shipped by boat or by air at the buyer's expense. Please contact us regarding any questions you may have.
