Vintage Adjustable Mount Art Lamp by Eagle

Wall-mounted brass picture or art light featuring a cylindrical shade suspended from a flat, slotted support arm, allowing for fine vertical adjustment via a locking thumb screw. This slotted arm-often referred to as a height-adjustment slot-provides a wider range of positioning than fixed-arm examples, making it especially well-suited for varying frame sizes or changing displays. The cylindrical shade is partially enclosed, directing light downward in a controlled wash while softening glare. Finished in warm brass with visible age and handling marks, the form is clean, utilitarian, and unmistakably purpose-built.
This example is manufactured by Eagle, a well-known American electrical and lighting producer whose fixtures were widely used in residential, commercial, and institutional interiors throughout the early to mid-20th century. The design reflects Eagle's emphasis on durability and practical adjustability, bridging traditional picture-light forms with increasingly modern, standardized electric components. Compact but mechanically thoughtful, it reads as a functional architectural element rather than decorative excess.
Shows surface wear and finish loss consistent with age, including scuffs and abrasions to the brass housing; tested and in working condition.

PARCEL SHIPPING
We ship smaller objects with UPS and USPS. All shipments are fully insured and adhere to carrier packing guidelines. Shipping costs for smaller items being shipped within the continental United States are free up to $100. If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. FREIGHT SHIPPING
Free freight shipping is available for most large items. Conditions and restrictions apply: Free delivery is only offered on orders in the continental US. Shipping for freight items is free up to $500. If freight shipping costs exceed $500, the buyer is responsible for covering any amount over $500. Free freight delivery services include: delivery to a freight terminal, curbside delivery, and door-to-door delivery with a private carrier. White glove delivery services are *not included* in our free freight shipping policy, but may be available for a fee. Buyers may be subject to fees in cases where a delivery location is remote/difficult to access, or where a shipment requires special handling. Please contact us for shipping quotes and available services prior to purchasing.
All shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the buyer assumes all responsibility for the shipment the moment it leaves our loading dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles.
Delivery for freight items averages between 2-4 weeks. Longer delivery times are to be expected in cases where a delivery location is remote or when an order contains especially large or fragile items.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
All shipments going outside of the continental United States will require consultation prior to shipping. Items will be crated and shipped by boat or by air at the buyer's expense. Please contact us regarding any questions you may have.
