c. 1930s-1940s; Majestic Creations, Inc. for Four Roses Distillers Company - New York City, NY

Illuminated countertop advertising display produced for Four Roses Distillers Company, featuring the slogan "The Good Life includes Four Roses" alongside a bouquet of four molded red roses housed within a clear acrylic halo accented by starburst motifs. The sign retains its original chrome-trimmed plastic body, folding metal easel, wall hanging provisions, and period pass-through electrical plug. The lower brass trim is stamped "Four Roses Distillers Company, N.Y.C. Blended Whiskey 86 Proof 60% Grain Neutral Spirits." Included are the original instruction sheet, spare screw-in bulb, and the original red-and-black houndstooth-pattern sample carrying case stenciled "SAMPLE."

Majestic Creations, Inc. specialized in illuminated point-of-sale advertising displays during the mid-20th century, producing eye-catching electric promotional signs for liquor, tobacco, and consumer brands distributed to retailers throughout the United States.

Vintage screw-in Christmas light bulbs within the roses appear to be burned out. A spare bulb remains attached to the reverse and is untested. The original pass-through plug has been tested and functions properly. The folding metal easel fits somewhat loosely in its mounting slot but remains functional for tabletop display. The sign may also be wall mounted using the integrated keyhole slots. Molded roses exhibit scattered dark speckling, minor staining, and light edge wear to the petals. The plastic sign body shows light surface wear consistent with age. Metal corner protectors, trim, and case latches display age-related oxidation and discoloration. The original sample case shows light edge wear and remains in overall good condition. Instruction sheet exhibits expected creasing, foxing, and age toning.

PARCEL SHIPPING

We ship smaller objects with UPS and USPS. All shipments are fully insured and adhere to carrier packing guidelines. Shipping costs for smaller items being shipped within the continental United States are free up to $100. If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. FREIGHT SHIPPING

Free freight shipping is available for most large items. Conditions and restrictions apply: Free delivery is only offered on orders in the continental US. Shipping for freight items is free up to $500. If freight shipping costs exceed $500, the buyer is responsible for covering any amount over $500. Free freight delivery services include: delivery to a freight terminal, curbside delivery, and door-to-door delivery with a private carrier. White glove delivery services are *not included* in our free freight shipping policy, but may be available for a fee. Buyers may be subject to fees in cases where a delivery location is remote/difficult to access, or where a shipment requires special handling. Please contact us for shipping quotes and available services prior to purchasing. 

All shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the buyer assumes all responsibility for the shipment the moment it leaves our loading dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles. 

Delivery for freight items averages between 2-4 weeks. Longer delivery times are to be expected in cases where a delivery location is remote or when an order contains especially large or fragile items.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All shipments going outside of the continental United States will require consultation prior to shipping. Items will be crated and shipped by boat or by air at the buyer's expense. Please contact us regarding any questions you may have.
