1952; mfd. by National Screen Service Corp. for Warner Bros. Pictures - Hollywood, CA

Extra-long horizontal promotional banner for the Warner Bros. baseball biopic *The Winning Team*, featuring a color portrait of Doris Day and Ronald Reagan, oversized title lettering, and an illustrated baseball player. Handwritten title and production markings appear along the margins, with a National Screen Service Corp. distribution stamp at the lower right.

Released in 1952 and directed by Lewis Seiler, *The Winning Team* stars Ronald Reagan as Hall of Fame pitcher Grover Cleveland Alexander and Doris Day as his wife, Aimee. The film follows Alexander's rise to professional baseball, his medical and personal setbacks, and his celebrated return to the game, culminating in the 1926 World Series. It remains one of Reagan's best-known sports films and paired him with Day during the height of her Warner Bros. career.

Print and text remain legible, with good color retained in the portrait of Reagan and Day. Shows extensive age and display wear, including overall creasing, surface cracking, abrasions, numerous tears along the side edges, and losses near Reagan's last name at both the top and bottom. Scattered pigment loss is present in the actors' names. Several small holes and punctures were likely created during previous display. The National Screen Service Corp. stamp remains legible at the lower right.
