Vintage "Humphrey" Cutaway Water Heater Salesman Sample in Green

Scale salesman's demonstration sample of a Humphrey Automatic Storage Water Heater. The cylindrical sheet-metal body is finished in contrasting light and dark green and raised on four cast feet. A large factory cutaway exposes the interior construction, including the circular multi-port burner, combustion chamber, internal baffle, piping, and operating components. Detailed copper and brass valves and fittings project from the lower body, while the domed top incorporates a central flue opening and two additional fittings. The original manufacturer's plate retains its lighting and operating instructions, pressure and capacity fields, and testing laboratory emblem.
Overall in good condition with exterior soiling, scattered paint loss, scratches, and handling wear. Oxidation is present where the paint loss is most significant, particularly around the exposed edges of the cutaway. The copper and brass elements have developed an aged patina with areas of green verdigris around connection points. The manufacturer's label remains legible and in good condition with slight losses at the corners. A shallow dent is present on the side to the left of the label. Interior components exhibit dust, oxidation, paint wear, and age-related surface corrosion. Operational condition has not been tested.

We ship smaller objects with UPS and USPS. All shipments are fully insured and adhere to carrier packing guidelines. Shipping costs for smaller items being shipped within the continental United States are free up to $100. If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. FREIGHT SHIPPING
Free freight shipping is available for most large items. Conditions and restrictions apply: Free delivery is only offered on orders in the continental US. Shipping for freight items is free up to $500. If freight shipping costs exceed $500, the buyer is responsible for covering any amount over $500. Free freight delivery services include: delivery to a freight terminal, curbside delivery, and door-to-door delivery with a private carrier. White glove delivery services are *not included* in our free freight shipping policy, but may be available for a fee. Buyers may be subject to fees in cases where a delivery location is remote/difficult to access, or where a shipment requires special handling. Please contact us for shipping quotes and available services prior to purchasing.
All shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the buyer assumes all responsibility for the shipment the moment it leaves our loading dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles.
Delivery for freight items averages between 2-4 weeks. Longer delivery times are to be expected in cases where a delivery location is remote or when an order contains especially large or fragile items.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
